My Story

My name is Matthew Ward.

As a child, I was fascinated with instruments of all sorts and initially went to school for music composition at the Dana School of Music. Music has always been a major part of my life, and I have 30 years of experience playing the piano.

I maintain an active role in the CT wind music scene, playing solo baritone in the Charter Oak Brass Band and euphonium in the Eastern Concert Band.

I decided to follow my passion for piano and have completed my technician training through the Piano Technician Academy.

I am currently a member in good standing with the Piano Technicians Guild.

Our Mission

From decades of playing on all sorts of instruments, I know from first-hand experience how frustrating it can be to play on an out-of-tune piano or one with a sticky or broken key.

I want to provide you with the experience I wish I had my whole life: simply fixing what needs to be fixed without unnecessary extra services.

I will be straightforward and honest about the state of your piano and always listen to what you want.

To prove I’m serious about this, I pledge a 100% satisfaction guarantee: I will make a free return visit to correct any problems found within 30 days of the appointment.
